Italian Baked Tomato

This simple, fast and delicious recipe makes an appetizer or light snack in just 15 minutes.
So simple and easy. Sure to satisfy you and your guests.

Ingredients

  • 1 or more slicing tomatoes
  • Some shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Italian seasoning
  • salt & pepper
  • Parmesan cheese

Preheat your oven to 375°.

Slice your tomato(es) and place them on a baking stone. Lightly salt and pepper them. Apply a nice layer of mozzarella cheese on them. Lightly sprinkle with Italian seasoning. Top with a light sprinkle or parmesan cheese.

Bake for about 10 minutes, just until the cheese is melted and the tomato slices are hot. Serve while hot.
